A Church for All Ages near Fairfax
St. Peter's is about fourteen miles east of Fairfax, just across the Renville County line into Sibley County. If you are looking for a church home, or coming back to one, you would be welcome here.
St. Peter's is the nearest LCMS congregation to Fairfax. Going west on Highway 19 there is no LCMS church in Franklin, Morton or Redwood Falls.
At our church, children stay in the service with their parents, and they learn the liturgy by hearing it every week.

St. Peter's is a member congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. We teach from the Bible and confess that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
What gets preached here every Sunday:

What You'll Find at St. Peter's
Worship: The historic Divine Service. Hymns from the Lutheran Service Book, Scripture readings, a sermon on the lectionary text for that Sunday, and the Lord's Supper. Every generation in the room together, children included.
Education: Sunday School for children and adult Bible study during the school year. Confirmation instruction for youth.
Fellowship: Coffee after the service, in a congregation where people know each other.

About Fairfax, Minnesota
Fairfax is a town of about 1,250 in Renville County, just south and west of St. Peter’s on Highway 19. It was platted in 1882 when the Minneapolis & St. Louis Railway came through, and the 1883 depot is now the town's historical museum. Dayz of Thunder comes at the end of June, and the Fairfax Cardinals play town-team baseball at Memorial Park all summer. Fort Ridgely State Park is seven miles south of town. Fairfax children go to GFW with many of our church’s children, and Fairfax has several churches — but no LCMS congregation.
